Jim and Ingbert welcomed 14 Miami University students from Ohio to this year’s semester program in Luxembourg last week.
The semester starts with an extensive introduction to Luxembourg’s history import from Jim and Ingbert’s knowledge and from experts in the fields such as urban development, landscape architecture and history.

This year, Miami University’s architectural studio class provides enquiry into the city development through definition of origin and investigation of forces reshaping its tissue through time and due to necessity.
The architectural program serves as a continuation of third year student’s education progress with the enhancement of real life architectural experiences providing a structure for investigation into design principles of a given project and develops a critical understanding of the complexity of design workflow and processes.
